Members of the German Bundestag visited the Constitutional Court

14 March 2017 - President of the Croatian Constitutional Court, Dr Miroslav Šeparović, received today, together with Judge Josip Leko and Secretary General Dr Teodor Antić, a delegation of the Committee for the Elections, Immunity and Rules of Procedure of the German Parliament (Bundestag). President Šeparović firstly emphasised very good relations between the Croatian Constitutional Court and German Federal Constitutional Court, whose case-law and legal views are often cited and relied upon in the practice of the Croatian Constitutional Court. The German MPs were interested to hear about the competences of our Court in relation to political parties, the way in which the Croatian MPs can approach the Constitutional Court and about the Constitutional Court as a positive legislator, given that the German Court in its decisions often provides the legislator with the obligatory solution of some issue, thereby expanding its jurisdiction.

CONSTITUTIONAL COMPLAINTS - INSTRUCTIONS
A large number of constitutional complaints are filed by the applicants themselves, without a representative. These submissions, as well as many other constitutional complaints, very often do not meet the requirements for filing a constitutional complaint set out in the Constitutional Act on the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia.

In order to provide assistance to everyone - whether they are the applicants of a constitutional complaint or their representatives - on these pages of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia you can obtain a free form for a constitutional complaint, as well as detailed instructions for completing it.
