1 September 2009 - The Human Rights Summer School, held in Novi Vinodolski from 1 - 6 September 2009, organised by the Croatian Human Rights Centre, the Law Faculty University of Rijeka and the City of Novi Vinodolski, this year deals with one of the most important modern mechanisms for the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms - the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of the Council of Europe. On that occasion Professor Dr. Jasna Omejec, President of the Court held a lecture on the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and its application in the Republic of Croatia.
