17 June 2008 - the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia, Prof. Jasna Omejec, LL.D., participated as an international expert, in the round table organised by the OSCE Mission to Montenegro in cooperation with the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe and the Ministry of Justice of Montenegro, held in Podgorica, Montenegro on 17 June 2008. The participants in the Round table discussed the draft of the first Constitutional Court of Montenegro Act, prior to its passing in the Parliament of Montenegro. The Act is, according to the organisers, one of the most important legislative enactments in the hierarchy of regulations, this being the reason why the Government of the Republic of Montenegro required the international expertise.
