22 September 2008 - to commemorate the National Day to Combat Violence against Women the Deputy PM and the Minister of Family, Veterans’ Affairs and Intergenerational Solidarity placed a wreath at the Zagreb Municipal Civil Court to commemorate the tragic incident that happened in 1999 when three women got murdered during the divorce proceedings held at that Court. Prof. Jasna Omejec, President of the Constitutional Court supported by her presence the combat of violence against women including the family violence and paid homage to the victims by signing the memorial book.
