30 June 2011 - Professor Jasna Omejec, President of the Court received today, together with Judges Snježana Bagić, Mato Arlović and Mario Jelušić, Mr Chut Chontavorn, President and Judges of the Constitutional Court of the Kingdom of Thailand, and thus started the bilateral cooperation of these two courts. The Thai Court, composed of nine judges appointed by the king upon the advice of the Senate, is considered one of the pillars of the Thai society, and on several occasions helped to defuse the crisis which was threatening to plunge the country into total chaos. Thai Judges were especially eager to find out more about the jurisdiction of the Croatian Constitutional Court related to the activities of political parties and the "impeachment" of the President of the Republic.
