19 October 2010 - Professor Dr. Jasna Omejec, received today Mr. Salim Joubran, Judge of the Supreme Court of the State of Israel, accompanied by H.E. Yossef Amrani, Ambassador of the State of Israel in Croatia. During the visit President Omejec presented the workings and organisation of the Croatian Constitutional Court and challenges we encounter in our everyday work. Judge Joubran was especially interested in the individual protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms through the institute of constitutional complaint and they also discuss the differences in the legal systems of the two countries.
