1 - 4 July 2010 - President of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, Professor Dr. Valery Zorkin and Judges Dr. Sergey Kazantsev, Dr. Nikolay Melnikov and Yuriy Rutkin, LLM paid, upon the invitation of Professor Jasna Omejec, President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia, a return visit to our country. The visit included several official meetings - with Mr. Luka Bebić, President of the Croatian Parliament; Mrs Jadranka Kosor, President of the Croatian Government and Professor Željko Potočnjak, Dean of the Zagreb Law Faculty, while at the working meeting judges of the Croatian and Russian Constitutional Court addressed several issues regarding the constitutional judiciary of both states. The members of both Courts concluded that this visit will not only deepen the relations between the two Courts, but also between Russian Federation and Croatia. Within the visit President Zorkin also held a lecture on "The constitutional development in the Russian Federation" at the Law Faculty in Zagreb.
