14 September 2009 - Upon the invitation of the President of the Pula County Court and the President of the Istria Bar Association, Professor Jasna Omejec, President of the Court, today held a lecture on the impartiality of a tribunal in the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights. In her address she informed judges of regular courts, county and municipal public prosecutors and lawyers on the European Court of Human Rights case-law related to the European standards for the evaluation of impartiality and independence of courts in the specific cases and expressed the opinion that "it is not sufficient to execute justice, but one has to see that the justice has in fact been executed".
