12 July 2011 - Upon the invitation of Dr Rui Manuel Ramos, President of the Constitutional Court of Portugal a delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia paid from 7 to 11 July 2011 an official and working visit to the Portuguese Constitutional Court in Lisbon. The Croatian delegation headed by Professor Jasna Omejec, president comprised also Judge Snježana Bagić and Dr Marko Babić. In addition to exchanging experience regarding the abstract constitutional control, the judges devoted special attention to relations of the two Courts with the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg and the application of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. The Croatian delegation was also received by Mr Luis António Noronha do Nascimento, President of the Supreme Court of Portugal.
