30 August - Professor Jasna Omejec, President of the Constitutional Court of Croatia participated in the celebrations marking the 15th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, held in Astana, 27 - 28 August 2010. In the framework of the celebrations President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Nursultan Nazarbayev opened the international conference on "The Constitution is the Basis for the Democratic State Development" that gathered more than 200 participants, among which also the representatives of 24 foreign Constitutional Courts. On this occasion President Omejec held an expert lecture on the constitutional development of European post-communist states.
