4 October - upon the invitation of Dr. Vladimir Kristo, President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, a four-member delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia lead by Professor Dr. Jasna Omejec, President, paid an official visit to the Albanian Constitutional Court in Tirana. On October 3, 2009 in Vlora, the judges of both Courts held a round table dedicated to the application of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of the Council of Europe in the protection of human rights. President Omejec and Judges Nevenka Šernhorst, LLM, Dr. Mario Jelušić and Mato Arlović, LL M were also received by H.E. Bamir Topi, President of the Republic of Albania and Mrs Shpresa Beçaj, President of the Supreme Court of Albania.
