5 May - Professor Dr. Rona Aybay, President of the Human Rights Practice and Research Center and of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations and member of the Council of Europe’s Group of Wise Persons for the procedural reform of the ECHR, visited today the Constitutional Court, where he was received by Professor Dr. Jasna Omejec, President and Mr. Teodor Antić, LL.M., Secretary General. Professor Aybay, as the former Judge of the Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was especially interested in the jurisdiction of the Croatian Constitutional Court related to political parties and the application of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of the Council of Europe and its position in the Croatian legal system.
