FUNDAMENTAL LEGAL ACTS

I.

The following legal acts are relevant for the functioning and the internal organisation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia:

THE CONSTITUTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA
THE CONSTITUTIONAL ACT ON THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA
RULES OF PROCEDURE OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA

The Vinodol law - the Croatian written compilation of customary law of 1288. The basic provisions concerning the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia are contained in Chapter V (Articles 125 to 131) of the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia, entitled "The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia", and in Articles 6,88,94,96,104,105,122 of the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia.

The Constitutional Act on the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia is passed by the Croatian Parliament on the grounds of Article 131 paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia, in accordance with the procedure determined for amending the Constitution.

The Rules of Procedure of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia are adopted by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia on the grounds of Article 131 paragraph 3 of the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia.

II.
